Tile Cost Calculator
Tile cost is, in the end, just multiplication: quantity times price, line by line. Tiles by the unit price, adhesive and grout by the price per bag, and if you like, labour on top per square metre. The one thing that matters is whose prices go in – yours. TileWright only ever works with the figures you enter, so nothing goes stale on you.

How to calculate the cost
- Determine quantities: tiles, adhesive bags, grout bags.
- Enter your own purchase prices.
- Add quantities × prices, optionally labour per m².
Formula: Total = tiles×price + adhesive×price + grout×price + area×labour price
Example: 74 tiles × €0.50 + 5 adhesive × €20 + 1 grout × €15 + 12 m² × €30 = €512.
Practical tips
- Include waste – otherwise the material cost is too low.
- Add small materials (spacers, silicone, profiles) as a lump sum.
- Compare several quotes – prices vary widely.
